Presenting wirelessly with AirMedia
Windows Users
- Touch the control panel on either the wall or table to wake the system.
- Connect laptop to 成人视频FacStaff, 成人视频Student or 成人视频Guest wifi.
- To install AirMedia:
- Open a browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari etc.)
- In search bar, type in the url noted on the display you are connecting to.
- Select the correct application to download to your device (Windows/Mac)
- Download application and open it if it does not do so automatically.
- Touch the control panel on either the wall or table to wake the system.
- Connect laptop to 成人视频FacStaff, 成人视频Student or 成人视频Guest wifi.
- Either open the AirMedia app or a browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari etc.)
- If you are opening the app, proceed to step #4.
- If you open a browser, type in the url noted on the display you are connecting to and select "Start Presenting." This will open the AirMedia app and you can proceed to step #4.
- If this is your first time opening AirMedia, please select "Agree" on the screenshot below.
- At the "Session Delegation" screen, select the default "Ask Me" option and select "OK" to proceed.
- At the "Connect" screen enter the url from the display you are connecting to in this format, 137.216.##.###, and press "Enter."
- On the "Enter Code" screen, enter the 4-digit passcode found below the url and select "Connect."
- AirMedia should now be connected and displaying your screen. Keep the AirMedia app open, but you may minimize it.
Dock (square icon): Returns to AirMedia Splash Screen, but does not disconnect from AirMedia. Click 鈥淧lay鈥 to continue presentation
Pause (triangle and two parallel lines icon): Freezes current screen. Press 鈥淩esume鈥 to continue presentation
Audio (speaker icon): Use this to control audio levels of the room. This controls the room audio, not the laptop audio. DO NOT adjust the volume using your laptop controls. The speaker icon in the lower right of your laptop should display as muted.
Disconnect (circle with slash): Stops presentation and returns to AirMedia splash screen. User will need to log back in to present again.
Mac Users
- Touch the control panel on either the wall or table to wake the system.
- Connect laptop to 成人视频FacStaff, 成人视频Student or 成人视频Guest wifi
- To install Air Media
- Open a browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari etc.)
- In the search bar, type in the url noted on the display you are connecting to.
- Select the correct application to download to your device (Windows/Mac)
- Download application.
- Locate the install file in your "Downloads" folder. IMPORTANT! Open the ".dmg" file and drag the Crestron AirMedia application to your "Applications" folder. DO NOT run the application from the disk image
- Locate the "Crestron AirMedia" application in the "Applications" folder. Double-click on it to open AirMedia. A pop-up window will appear asking if you are sure you would like to open it. Select "Open."
- Touch the control panel on either the wall or table to wake the system.
- Connect laptop to 成人视频FacStaff, 成人视频Student or 成人视频Guest wifi.
- Either open the AirMedia app or a browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari etc.)
- If you are opening the app, proceed to step #4.
- If you open a browser, type in the url noted on the display you are connecting to and select "Start Presenting." This will open the AirMedia app and you can proceed to step #4.
- Open the AirMedia app and enter the url into the search bar located at the top the AirMedia application and press "Enter." The application will prompt for a code - DO NOT ENTER THE CODE HERE.
- Select the "Screen Mirroring" icon (two overlapping rectangles) at the top of your screen. See screenshot above.
- Under "Mirror or extend to:" select "USU###AM1" for the room you are connecting to. See screenshot above.
- Enter the 4-digit code from the display in the screen prompt.
- The display should now be presenting your screen.
Once connected, the AirMedia application is not necessary and may be closed. Volume and display controls will operate as normal.
To disconnect:
Option 1: Press the "Disconnect" button on the touch panel located in the conference room.
Option 2: Select the "Screen Mirroring" icon (two overlapping rectangles) at the top of your screen and select "Display Settings." In the "Display Settings" click "Disconnect."
