Students are encouraged to attend the orientation program, live in Oyate Yuwitaya Tipi (OYT) and register for the AIS 100 course to take full advantage of the programs and services. First-Year Experience consists of
The AISC Orientation program is held in late August, during the week prior to the start of fall classes. It is an early move-in and expanded orientation for the 成人视频 American Indian students that provides the platform to discuss social, cultural, academic and professional issues that first-time students may face. By attending the Orientation program students are provided an opportunity to experience the 成人视频 campus environment prior to the start of the semester with early move-in!
About
- The Oyate Yuwitaya Tipi (the tribes/people live together) (OYT) is a living-learning community that is coordinated through the American Indian Student Center.
- The OYT LLC is located in Mathews Hall and is open to all first- and second-year students who self-identify as American Indian OR who have an interest in American Indian historical and contemporary issues.
- In addition to AISC events and services, OYT will host a monthly program for the residents. The programs are designed to engage students in cultural, academic and social programming that will inform and enhance their experience at 成人视频.
