Caldwell Hall

Caldwell Hall

Caldwell Hall houses 300 students and is used as a co-ed hall for second year students. Caldwell Hall also has some specifically designed ADA rooms available for students with additional needs.

Building Description

The hall houses the Allied for Acceptance Living-Learning Community. It has laundry in every wing, a pool table in the lobby, as well as a study space and a kitchen on first floor.

Caldwell Hall is named in honor of Ada Bertha Caldwell, professor of industrial arts from 1899 to 1936. Artist and teacher, Caldwell taught the state's most well-known artist Harvey Dunn. Caldwell's influence extended outside classroom instruction as she helped design Coolidge Sylvan Theatre and the first student union, which is now Pugsley Center.
