Arm bands are worn by the Little International Exposition participants when showing animals. The judges use the numbers to track and identify the participants for awarding points.

2023:022:01 Egg yolk color fan that pivots in the corner. The cover is black with the words "Improved Roche Yolk Color Fan". There are nine other cards in the fan in various shades of yellow with a number printed on each card. The top card is the palest and has the number "1" printed on it. The fan fits in a clear plastic case that has yellowed with age.

Grasshopper Poison Spreader Model

The South Dakota State College (now ��Ƶ) Horticulture Department invented this grasshopper poison spreader to combat the locust plague during the Dust Bowl.

1998:001:004 A - Bodice. Pigeon pout or pigeon breast wedding dress bodice in a cream color. Embroidery and tucks are visible along with breaks or tears in the fabric.

This delicate silk bodice is part of a wedding dress ensemble worn by Fredrica Peterson at her marriage to Albert Linnell on Jan. 21, 1903, location unknown. This pigeon pout or pigeon breast style was fashionable from 1900 to 1910 (the Edwardian era).

Not a blockhead, but a hat block (7/19/26)

This wooden hat block is the crown of a hat. It could be stacked on top of a brim block and attached to the base. Milliners mold fabric like wool felt over the blocks to their desired shape.
