³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Toddler Program
The tuition for the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Toddler Program is $390 per semester. The $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee is applied toward the child's fall tuition each year
³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Preschool Program
The tuition for the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Preschool Program is $490 per semester. The $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee is applied toward the child's fall tuition each year.
³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Preschool Scholarship Fund
There are half tuition scholarships available when there is a need. If you think your family may be eligible for a scholarship, please contact Jen Johnson by email or at 605-688-4751 or Laura Gloege by email or at 605-688-6477. Typically the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Preschool Laboratory has two scholarships per classroom available.
The scholarship funds are generated by the collection of Hy-Vee grocery receipts. For each $150,000 in receipts collected, the Fishback Center receives $1,000 in scholarship funds.
This last academic year, families submitted $150,000 of receipts for $1,000 in scholarship money.
If you would like to contribute, please drop off your Hy-Vee grocery receipts at the Fishback Center front desk or with your child's Mentor Teacher.
³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Kindergarten Enrollment
The ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Kindergarten Program is a collaborative effort with the Brookings School District. Therefore, the children enrolled in the program are part of the Brookings School District and their education is tuition free.
³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Out of School Time Program
The ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Out of School Time Program provides extended care for families of kindergartners who elect to enroll in the program.
Out of School Time Program Fees
Enrollment for OST is open to those families whose children are enrolled in the kindergarten who may need child care before or after school. OST tuition is paid monthly. A late payment (after 5:15 p.m. on the due date) of $5 will be added every day after the due date specified. The OST tuition fee is based on individual families’ needs/wants. The tuition is $3.50 per hour (rounded up to the nearest ½ hour). The OST program is open from 7:30 a.m. until school starts at 8:15 a.m. and from 2:30-5:15 p.m. after school, Monday through Friday.
