Hours of Operation
The building is open most days from 7:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
Administration offices are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday all year.
These hours are affected by events, holidays, weather and school closings.
The Box Office hours vary depending on the event.
Parking
Parking on the South Dakota State Campus requires a permit Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
If your event happens during this time, you can request an Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center specific parking permit.
Free parking is available for evening and weekend performances.
Parking lots are located on the east and south side of The Oscar. Accessible parking is located on the east, west and north side of The Oscar.
Lost and Found
Recently visit the building and leave something behind?
Lost and Found is located in The Oscar, room 189.
Pick up Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Items will be held for 90 days before being donated. Wallets/Purses will be held for one week before being turned over to the University Police Department.
Accessibility
Here at The Oscar, we offer Assisted Listening Devices in all four of our spaces: Founders Recital Hall, Larson Memorial Concert Hall, Fishback Studio Theatre and the Oscar Larson Theatre. These devices include headsets and a T-coil, sometimes called a T-switch or telecoil.
We also offer American Sign Language interpretation per request.
