Brookings Community Theatre

Brookings Community Theatre (BCT) was unofficially formed in 2001 by a small group of theater enthusiasts with their first stage show produced in 2002. Since then BCT has developed into a non-profit organization that is known for the quality of its shows. In 2010, BCT became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Brookings Community Theatre's mission is to enrich Brookings and surrounding communities by providing theatrical entertainment, as well as offering educational and performance opportunities for people of all ages.

Brookings School District

The Brookings School District and community is a positive and engaging place for students to learn. Education in Brookings is truly a community effort. We have a diverse culture of opportunity in our own back yard; South Dakota State University’s Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center allows our students to perform and learn in a professional setting.

School of Performing Arts

The School of Performing Arts fosters and provides opportunities for creativity, performance and artistic and intellectual understanding through the study and practice of performing arts within contemporary and historical cultures. Mindful of the University’s Land Grant mission, we strive to provide outreach-engagement that creates meaningful connections among students, the University and the broader community.

Woodbine Productions

Woodbine Productions is a project of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Foundation and an anonymous benefactor who underwrites all performance expenses. Thanks to the donor’s generosity, every dollar of every ticket sold for a Woodbine Productions concert or event, goes directly to providing substantial, competitive scholarships to students involved in performing arts at ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ.
