This photograph, taken June 12, 1942, shows Clifford Cook feeding his 4-H chicks. Clifford has two feeding troughs set out for the birds. The chicks appear to be housed in an old kitchen that was repurposed as a chicken house. Behind Clifford is a row of kitchen cabinets and in the left side of the photo is an Elite Windsor stove with one burner and chrome decoration that was probably being used to keep the chicks warm.
