A source of patriotic pride, Victory Gardens provided home front produce during the WWII years. People wanted to show off some of their Victory Garden produce, much like at a fair. This week鈥檚 Throwback Thursday celebrates the goods of the garden through the 鈥淰ictory Vegetable and Flower Show鈥 in Brookings. The photos reflect the various garden products from pumpkins and corn to bouquets. The goods of the Victory Garden were celebrated in this show.
