In the days before readily available photos and motion pictures, many sales men carried models or minitures of the products they sold for demonstration purposes. This week鈥檚 What鈥檚 New Wednesday looks into a model grain cleaner for the Linde Company. Used in demonstrating grain cleaning for elevators and seed companies, the fully fuctional model comes with and electric model to run it. It is about three feet in length, 26 inches in height and weigh about 20 lbs, making it about a 1/6 scale model. This allowed for the salesman to show their product to the potential customer in 3-D form.
