Walt Disney鈥檚 Pluto made his debut in 1930. In 1931, Fisher Price made and sold Pluto string puppets. His body is yellow wooden beads and black beads are his tail. His ears are oilcloth and he wears a red bead for a collar. The dog's bone-shaped base is painted green and has gold labeling. He lays flat until the strings are pulled taut, then he stands up. Depending on how tightly the strings are pulled he sways and squirms around.
