Don’t Be Discouraged by Small Outcomes
Mitigating agricultural impacts on water quality is a “wicked problem” with many overlapping systems and confounding objectives. Can robust agricultural production and environmental conservation happily coexist? Can we have it all? Can we have it all at the same time? Drawing inspiration from other wicked problems, this talk will address the optimist’s viewpoint that small victories are both achievable and important and will provide some examples of where and how these victories might be achieved.
