Math Help Center
The Math Help Center (MHC) provides free walk-in tutoring for students taking MATH 101, 103, 114, 115, 120, 121, 123 and 125 at SDState. The MHC is located in the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering building (AME or SAME) room 292.
On-campus tutoring hours for fall 2024:
- Monday through Thursday, noon-6 p.m.
- Friday, noon-4 p.m.
Appointments can be made via ConnectState.
STAT 281 Hours:
Help in STAT 281 is available on a walk-in basis when a statistics-qualified tutor is available.

FA24 Supplemental Labs
Online supplemental labs are available for Math 103 (students complete independently). Upload to D2L in the Dropbox and then do a reflection on their answers. Information available on the D2L content page under 鈥渆xtra credit鈥.
Participate in Math 120 Supplemental Labs to get extra practice and help with the topics in Math 120.

Participation in a supplemental labs will earn you 2% bonus on the following test for a maximum of 6% bonus on each test. (If you go to more than three supplemental labs before a test, the extra 2% bonus earned will be applied to your Final Exam score.)
Participate in Math 121 Supplemental Labs to get extra practice and help with the topics in Math 121. (And earn some extra credit in the process!)
