Nearly 150 years ago Hans Peter Hansen paid a filing fee of $2. In return he received this receipt for his payment and proof that he had made a declaration to claim the land located at the Southeast corner of section 20, township 103N, of range 71W.

What is a Halloween party without costumes? Here is a photograph of a party at the REA (Rural Electrification Association) in Colman in 1961.

This photograph from our Leland Sudlow Collection shows a shirt ironing competition during the Farm and Home Week show on campus in February 1946.

W.A. Weber wrote and published “My Book Profits in Poultry” in 1927, a catalog and guide in raising poultry that shows the different breeds you can purchase from the Weber Hatchery.
