School of Design students recreate campus model
Students in the South Dakota State University School of Design recently unveiled a newly designed campus model. The model, officially presented on Oct. 20, is now on display at ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ in the Edgar S. McFadden Biostress Lab and the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall.

Since 2019, EduMed has released annual rankings that highlight that year’s top programs based on a combination of factors like affordability, accessibility and commitment to student success.

Shanna O’Connor, associate professor and head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at South Dakota State University, recently published a commentary on pharmacy regulations in the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association.
Reynolds, Strawn to present junior recital
South Dakota State University juniors Thomas Reynolds and Ethan Strawn will present a joint vocal recital at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ campus. Reynolds, a baritone, is a Brookings native majoring in vocal music education. Strawn, a tenor, is from Sioux Falls and is majoring in music education.
Kuang to present faculty recital
Xuan Kuang, instructor of group piano and artistic collaboration at South Dakota State University, will present a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, in Founders Recital Hall at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
