This includes demonstration shows, star parties, educational talks, assistance with curriculum and judging for local and regional science fairs. It is the goal of the department to act as a resource for students and teachers statewide. The department also has a long history of providing teacher workshops in the summer with the focus on increasing student interest and ability in math and science.
