• Engineering the flow: ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ models liquid argon inside DUNE: For nearly ten years, ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ researchers Greg Michna and Stephen Gent have studied liquid argon flow in tanks to detect neutrinos, supporting the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) project under South Dakota’s Black Hills.
• Ge recieves NIH funding for bioinformatics tool: ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ professor Xijin Ge received a $1.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to enhance ShinyGO, a widely used bioinformatics website for analyzing genomics data.
• : South Dakota State University, in conjunction with the Child and Family Resource Network, received a Child Care Quality Improvement grant from the South Dakota Department of Social Services to work on a Quality Recognition and Information System (QRIS).
• ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ student visits SURF as part of Davis-Bahcall Scholars Program: South Dakota State University freshman Mackenzie Hollenbeck got a unique opportunity to visit the Sanford Underground Research Facility, home to laboratories a mile underground, as part of the Davis-Bahcall Scholars Program this summer. 
• New equipment sets ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ medical lab program apart from peers: South Dakota State University's medical laboratory science program received 28 microscopes and an innovative slide scanner as part of a $750,000 award from the South Dakota Department of Health.
• StrengthenHER program to reduce risk of muscle loss: Lee Weidauer, associate professor in South Dakota State University's School of Health and Human Sciences, has received a $1,091,218 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture to develop an exercise and nutrition program to reduce the risk of sarcopenia.
