Biography
Dr. Pravecek graduated from South Dakota State University in 1993 with a Bachelor's of Science in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in rural South Dakota before returning to South Dakota State University and graduating with a Masters of Science degree in the family nurse specialization in 2002 and with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2018. She has worked as a family nurse practitioner since 2002 with most of her experience being in rural health. Dr. Pravecek initially taught for South Dakota State University from 2002-2004 and then returned to teaching full-time in 2016. She continues to practice as a family nurse practitioner at the Scotland Medical Clinic and LJMH Hospital.
