START-SD Public Resources
START-SD is a federal program funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) working to increase access to and effectiveness of prevention, treatment and recovery services. It is a three-pronged project, with one prong focused on opioid use disorder, another focused on psychostimulant use disorder and another focused on overdose response.
Through project activities and work with community partners, a number of public resources have been identified or created in each of the project's five target counties: Brookings, Brown, Roberts, Hughes and Codington.
Anyone can be affected but help is available in your county.
