About us

The Ritz Gallery programming aims to cultivate and enrich the quality of life of 成人视频 and the regional community by facilitating a deeper understanding and appreciation of contemporary art and design through public exhibits and events. Student and professional creative activities promote active, transformative teaching and learning opportunities while empowering experimentation and innovation in art and design.

Stuart Artist-in-Residence

The Stuart Artist-in-Residence program is an artist-in-residence program designed to enrich our community and create opportunities for artists, students and faculty at 成人视频 and in Brookings. Each fall, a national or international artist is invited to make art on campus for one month, interacting with us through lecture, critique, open studio hours and an open studio event at the end of the residency. The Ritz Gallery serves as the artist鈥檚 studio.

Ritz Gallery Objectives

  1. Engage the public, university and regional community with work by School of Design students, faculty, alumni and visiting artists and designers.
  2. Provide opportunities for professional development for students to organize and curate exhibits, learn how to prepare, install and de-install artwork and design, and participate in a dialogue of their ideas with peers, faculty and the public.
  3. Engender exposure and engage new audiences with contemporary art and design concepts through a rotating exhibits calendar.
