Built in 1977 at a cost of 4 million dollars, the Animal Science Complex is comprised of three units: the Animal Science Arena, the Meat Lab and research laboratories.

Building Description

The Animal Science Arena is used for bringing in livestock for classes and evaluation. It is also home to the annual Little International Livestock Exposition (Little I) and other judging contests.

The Meat Lab allows students to create their own meat products and conduct research. Products are for sale at the lab's retail space.

Research labs located in the Animal Science Complex cover several disciplines such as nutrition, physiology and molecular genetics.
