Located on the northwest corner of Medary Avenue and Eighth Street, the three-level brick building is the headquarters of the ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Foundation.

Originally built in 1927, Lincoln Hall is the home to the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of American and Global Studies. The facility includes offices, classrooms, seminar rooms and collaboration spaces.

McCrory Gardens Education and Visitor Center was built in 2012.

Morrill Hall—named in honor of Justin Smith Morrill, who is widely remembered today for the Morrill Land-Grant College Act—houses several offices on campus. This includes the Office of the President, Office of Academic Affairs, Graduate School, Budget and Finance, University Counsel, Technology and Security, Human Resources and Accounting.

Old Horticulture houses the Office of Information Technology.

Opened August 2017, the Plant Science Research Support Center is a 17,000-square-foot facility that allows for an increase in research and hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Located just east of the Hilton M. Briggs Library, this brick structure was built in 1959 at a cost of $692,000.

Built in 1940, the Pugsley Center is home to the School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Rapid City is one of four satellite campuses that South Dakota State University has in their nursing program.

Solberg Hall is home to the construction and concrete industry management department. This historic building is connected to the Chicoine Architecture, Mathematics and Engineering Hall.
