A separate NRM Student Herbarium (SNP 167, 493 ft2) consists of ~ 20,000 vouchered specimens and is managed independently from the research collections of the C.A. Taylor Herbarium. The Student Herbarium is adjacent to the NRM teaching labs (SNP 179 and 181). This resource enhances our undergraduate and graduate curriculum by providing high quality teaching specimens, collecting supplies, a student library and a botanically-themed study room for students. Teaching specimens are typically replicates of C.A. Taylor research specimens and are mounted and maintained using departmental resources. NRM is currently searching for a faculty member to curate both collections.
