South Dakota State University has earned business accreditation from AACSB International for the Ness School of Management and Economics, as announced Friday, Feb. 14. 

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools and the largest business education network connecting learners, educators and businesses worldwide. 

Business accreditation ensures continuous improvement and provides focus for schools to deliver on their mission, innovate and drive impact. Schools accredited by the AACSB have successfully undergone a rigorous review process conducted by their peers in the business education community, ensuring that they have the resources, credentials and commitment needed to provide students with a first-rate, future-focused business education. 

The following are statements from Dennis Hedge, ������Ƶ’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, and Joe Santos, director of the Ness School of Management and Economics.
