Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance listed on your Veterans Affairs Shopping Sheet is based on a general estimate of the tuition, fees, books, room, board, transportation and other miscellaneous educational expenses paid by students with your residency status, living situation (on- versus off-campus). This includes both costs that will be directly billed by the University as well as those that you may need to cover your living expenses and other costs.

Average Debt

Of the students who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2022-2023 and who borrowed federal Title IV loans to help cover the costs of their education costs, sixty-nine percent borrowed federal Title IV loans to help cover the costs of their four-year education.  The average Title IV loan debt for these students was $21,877.24.

Transfer of Military and Other Credits

³ÉÈËÊÓƵ grants six (6) credits for Basic Military Training upon receipt of approved documentation: DD-214 - Certificate of Release of Discharge from Active Duty, Official Joint Services Transcript (JST) or official Community College of the Air Force transcript (CCAF).

Students who complete Basic Military Training in the Army, Navy or Marines are granted the following courses/credits:

• MSL 101 Introduction to the Army and Critical Thinking, one credit
• MSL 102 Introduction to the Profession of Arms for one credit
• MSL 201 Leadership and Decision Making for two credits
• HLTH 100 Wellness for Life for two credits

Students who complete Air Force Basic Military Training are granted the following courses/credits:

• AIR 101/101L Foundations of the US Air Force for one credit
• AIR 102/102L Foundations of the US Air Force for one credit,
• AIR 201/201L Team and Leadership Fundamentals I for one credit
• AIR 202/202L Team and Leadership Fundamentals II for one credit
• HLTH 100 Wellness for Life for two credits

If the student is currently enrolled in or has completed HLTH 100, ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ substitutes PE 100 for a maximum of 2 credits.

Upon review of approved documentation, additional credit may be granted for prior military experience if learning is of comparable nature, content and level to that offered by ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ based upon ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ college and major requirements. The ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ courses for which the student received credits are recorded on the academic record with the CR grade which does not affect the grade point average. Credit will not be given for duplication of courses. Credit accepted for military educational experiences may not exceed 30 credits for a baccalaureate degree or 15 credits for an associate degree.
