Monday Message, Nov. 12

Greetings!

A short week on campus begins after the Veterans Day holiday, a time when we remember and recognize all who served our country. I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and was able to spend some time with family and friends.

We are getting to that time of the semester where it is hard to believe we are only a little more than four weeks away from finals. I am extremely honored to work with so many dedicated faculty and staff members who have helped our students be successful and reach their academic potential during the first couple months of the academic year. Thank you for everything you do, and I look forward to a strong finish to the semester.

November is also an important month as we complete the free application period for high school students. The number of students who have applied to 成人视频 for admission next fall continues to be strong, and a lot of work by the admissions team and others will occur to yield those individuals into enrolled students next fall.

Last Friday, the Van D. and Barbara B. Fishback Honors College hosted its Honors Visit Day for students who are looking for the honors college experience. Thank you to everyone who helped those students learn more about 成人视频.

Finally, congratulations to our Jackrabbits soccer team for capturing the Summit League Conference tournament championship with a 3-1 win over Oral Roberts, Sunday. It is the program鈥檚 second consecutive tournament title and ninth overall conference championship. The team will next face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the first round of the NCAA tournament in Minneapolis on Friday.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I will be traveling to Rapid City this week for meetings with alumni, the Jackrabbits Nursing Social and the men's basketball game on Thursday night. I look forward to conversations with colleagues and friends West River.

Thank you again for your work efforts to make 成人视频 a premier land-grant university.

Sincerely,

Barry H. Dunn, President
