Prepare to make a difference.
The leadership and management of nonprofit organizations (LMNO) major prepares students for jobs in the nonprofit sector. Students will develop an understanding of the nonprofit sector and the role of philanthropy in the United States. Students will apply fundraising techniques, volunteer management and recruitment practices and facilitate team development in organizational structures.
This program’s comprehensive curriculum and practical hands-on learning experiences increase the students’ abilities and skills in the work of leadership and nonprofit operations. Through the LMNO program, students will be empowered to become successful professionals who work to advance the quality of life in communities.
Upon completion of the undergraduate program, students may also earn the Certified Nonprofit Professional credential with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance organization.

In addition, , a self-guided assessment, education and career planning program, will help you reflect on your values, interests, personality traits and skills to provide valuable insight as you explore major and career choices. ³ÉÈËÊÓƵ students may access FOCUS 2 Career by using their student email and password. After completing FOCUS 2 Career, you may find it helpful to discuss your results with a career coach in the .
